Political consultants Eric Jaye, Bergen Kenny and Danielle Winterhalter have announced they’re hosting a launch party Thursday in San Francisco to introduce their new product, SpeakEasy Political, a do-it-yourself tool that makes mailers for candidates and campaigns. SpeakEasy Political is a system that combines a candidate’s own photos and text with templates designed by professional consultants and graphic artists to create custom mail pieces. Each user can upload their own mailing list or use the system’s data targeting tool to select voters they want to reach. When the piece is complete, Jaye says, SpeakEasy prints and delivers the piece “for 20% to 40% less than you’d spend with a traditional mail consultant.” During its beta phase, SpeakEasy was used by more than 20 candidates and groups, including the Los Angeles County Labor Federation, which won its campaign on Measure S in Compton last November. The free launch part is set for this Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at 743 Clementina St. in San Francisco. Register here. Contact: info@speakeasypolitical.com or 415 857 4067.
